J Crew is happy to make a one-time price adjustment on full-priced items within seven days of the retail purchase or mail-order ship date if the original receipt is included.

J Crew will gladly honor a one-time price adjustment on full-price merchandise with the original receipt. All sales are final on items that were not purchased at full price.

J.Crew Return Policy and Exchange

J.Crew Factory is happy to take back unworn, unwashed, undamaged, or broken items that were bought online, over the phone, or in stores and shipped to a U.S. address within 30 days of the original purchase for a full refund or exchange.

To get a refund back to the original form of payment, the return must be sent back and processed within 30 days. You can return purchases made online or over the phone at any J. Crew Factory store.

Refunds will be made in the same way that the original payment was made unless we agree to credit a different type of payment.

Items sent by our Marketplace vendors must be sent back to them directly by following the instructions in the package.

J.Crew Factory stores or the distribution center won’t take them. Items that have been monogrammed, customized, vintage, altered, or are on final sale cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • When you use our pre-paid label, your refund will be reduced by $7.50.

The crew is happy to make a one-time price adjustment on full-price items within seven days of the date of the retail purchase or mail-order ship date, as long as the original receipt is included. Items that weren’t bought at full price can’t have their prices

How long does it take to process the return?

Please give us up to two weeks from the date you send the item back by mail to process your return. When it’s done, we’ll send you an email to let you know. If you are sending back items from more than one order in the same package, you must start a return for each order here and include all return packing slips for each order in your package. If a return doesn’t have a packing slip, it could take up to a week longer to process.

How long does it take to receive my refund?

Once you get the email that says your return has been processed, it will take 3–5 business days for you to get your money back.

Can I return my items to a store?

You can return purchases made online, over the phone, or in stores for delivery that was sent to a U.S. address to any J.Crew store in the U.S.
