Is Loblaws just in Canada?
Loblaws Inc. is a Canadian retailer. Loblaws Inc. is a grocery store company in Canada with locations in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan. Loblaws is a subsidiary of Loblaw Companies Limited, Canada's largest food wholesaler, with headquarters in Brampton, Ontario.
What is Loblaws known for?
Canada's food and pharmaceutical industry leader . They ha ve been innovating the grocery store experience to better serve Canadians since 1919. Today, their mission is to be the greatest in food, health, and beauty – to assist Canadians in Living Life Well®.
Where does Loblaws get its products?
During the growing season, roughly half of the produce sold in Loblaws' numerous locations – including Loblaws, Zehrs, Real Canadian Superstore, No Frills, and others – is grown in Canada. However, the Canadian growing season is often just a few months long, and farmers have traditionally focused on a limited number of crops.
How many stores does Loblaw own?
They now have almost 2,400 locations. Most are managed by independent proprietors who live in local neighborhoods.
I am shopper, and love to explore different shops, restaurants and supper markets. My purpose of creating this blog is to save your money on shopping. I m a writer and Owner of https://customersurvey.onl/
Feel free to ask me anything.
I just came from the Portland St. Superstore in Dartmouth NS and had one of the best and worst shopping experiences of my life. After gathering my groceries from the store, I was horrified to learn that my credit card transaction would not accept. Due to Covid-19, I was only carrying my phone and that card so I was completely flustered and at a loss as to what I was going to do. The cashier, a young man I believe named, Dylan, handled the situation with cool aplomb and even offered to pay for my order! I refused his very kind offer, ran home for alternate payment and took my groceries home.
I corrected the problem with my card issuer and being temporarily unable to pay for my food was a humbling experience. But I wanted to let you know that Dylan’s respectful and generous treatment to me is something I will never forget. Please share my message with his manager, Jason Ernst. My Transaction ID is 51002. Date June 1,2020
I have shopped in Loblaws since 1966. I now use Superstore near me in Langford.
The washrooms have recently been renovated, and about time!
However, they are still dirty, i.e. bathroom tissue on floor.
Paper towels missing.
I have started to shop in the new Thriftys and feel comfortable there. I lay before you the difference.
Your carts are not sanitized… left outside… DIY applies.
None of the clerks are wearing masks
None of the isles are marked with arrows so people are going up and down as normal and crossing each other as they reach for products. No distancing there…
Their is no customer service….i.e. clerks seem very indifferent.
I will continue to shop there for bargains only..one or two things that are cheaper.
We now have Thriftys, Quality Foods, SaveOnFoods, Fairway Market, and Market on Millstream as your competitors.
Please do not send me and promos from your store.

I always drop at superstore to look for new offer.
stores in Fredericton n.b. the staff are always friendly and very helpful.
Daves nofrills is best v clean n tidy
Stock is always there
Cashiers are very nice and friendly
The pharmacy on Gateway, Winnipeg, Manitoba is terrible. Extreemly long waits and make more errors than they get prescriptions right. Feel very sorry for staff working the til who have to deal with so many upset customers because the pharmacists (rude), techs (rude)and computer system are horrible.
We are VERY satisfied with the good online grocery pickup service at Loblaws 3501 Yonge St.
North York! Stephanie and Monica have been very pleasant and efficient……twice Monica has
called to say our order is ready before time even!
satisfied
Great store to save money on line orders! Also good for the disabled, elderlies, and the sick ones who cannot go out that so easily during this period of pandemy! PC staffs of the Hawkesbury Ontario store are terrific! They are very caring for every client!
I have just had a harrowing visit to the PC Express at Zehrs in Tillsonburg. Our pick up time was delayed and we were notified not to leave, until we had received an email to verify our order was ready. Email was received 1 hour after original pick up time. No problem so far – the delay was communicated effectively and politely by Mark. When we arrived at the parking lot it was absolute chaos! All the PC Parking spots were full and as folk pulled out, frustrated PC Express clients were ramming their cars into the vacant spot – regardless of who had been waiting the longest. There was not a single Zehrs employee monitoring this dangerous situation, although a couple of guys went buy moving buggies and I mentioned the situation twice to the PC Express delivery person. After 30 minutes I called inside and advised that we had no hope of getting into a parking spot unless we were willing to be aggressive and that safety was becoming an issue in the parking lot. After the person on the phone said there was nothing they could do – I requested to speak to the manager. It was like night and day – Larry, the manager was courteous, helpful and brought our groceries out himself and even managed to find some items that the pickers had advised were not available. He could not have been more helpful.
I have been using PC Express every week for the past 9 months and am a member.
Unfortunately, not one single order has been complete during this time. For some items, inventory was not sufficient and I understand that head office orders for this store – perhaps they should work more closely with the store manager – who is excellent. Even before Covid, this store never seemed to have sufficient inventory of items on special, particularly meat. The other issue I believe is that the staff might be too young to be actually buying or cooking their own groceries and have difficult identifying some items, particularly fresh produce, dried ingredients and cuts of meat. As Mommy is probably still doing this for them – they are also struggling regarding substitutions on some ingredients. More training might help or better still a more experienced shopper and/or cook to consult when they are unsure about what they are looking for. I enjoy the PC Express service, but today was very disturbing and I was not the only client who felt unsafe in the “free for all” the pick up area became.
I like the 2 for 1 deal and the employees are very friendly but we there last week looking for something that had a 2 for $ tag on it and then i went back a week later the 2 for 4 deal was taken off for that item that I was looking for
The employes are very friendly and helpful. The store is very organised and clean however, the shelves needed to be restocked. l had the pleasure of sampling your granole bar when I was checking out my groceries. The bar was chewy and flavorful however, my only criticism is the bar was very hard and now my teeth are hurting, please try and make them less hard.
I am not great on computers but have been trying for 20 minutes to do survey .Why do all stores figure everyone loves computers. My 82 mother shops there to and loves contests like me but she does not have a cell or computer.I know you can call but why not have a drop box so next trip in you can leave your entry. Thank You
